The Senior Injection Molding Process Engineer is responsible for engineering activities focused on injection molding and extrusion processes. This role involves process design optimization troubleshooting and innovation for polymerbased products. The Senior Injection Molding Process Engineer ensures consistent quality efficiency and reliability of manufacturing processes while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position may include indirect supervisory responsibilities including oversight of technicians and production team members involved in polymer processing operations.
Work Environment
This position operates in an office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines. The position interacts with devices that are sold by the company. It also requires interaction with extrusion and molding machinery and includes exposure to raw materials and production equipment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods of time walk and stoop; use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a fulltime position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday general business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This position may require occasional travel to supplier locations conferences or other manufacturing sites.
