We are Hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager at Peace Hospital! Childrens Developmental Delay Unit 3 East
Location: 2020 Newburg Road
Shift: FT Varied

Peace Hospital part of UofL Health is a private nonprofit behavioral health hospital. One of the largest behavioral health facilities in the nation Peace Hospital is known for providing care for children adolescents adults and senior adults age 55 and older. Our Kosair for Kids Childrens Peace Center is the largest and most comprehensive private provider of youth inpatient behavioral health services in the country treating children and adolescents with behavioral health and cooccurring disorders. We have a partial hospitalization program for schoolaged children and an inpatient specialty program for children and adolescents who have complex treatment needs such as intellectual or developmental disabilities accompanied by acute behavioral and psychiatric symptoms. UofL Health is home to over 14000 team members 1000 providers 200 practice locations 9 hospitals and 4 medical centers.

Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Manager will have responsibility for the overall operations of the nursing unit to include financial performance service quality clinical outcomes quality improvement employee satisfaction and patient satisfaction. The Clinical Manager of the Nursing Department will have direct reporting responsibility to a designated Nursing Director.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & TRAINING: Bachelors degree in Nursing required.
Masters Degree in a Nursing Specialty or Nursing Administration strongly preferred. Other Masters degrees such as business or healthcare administration will be considered.
EXPERIENCE:
Internal Candidates: At least four 4 years of experience in an acute care setting preferably an academic medical center. Prior management experience a plus.
External candidates: At least five 5 years of experience in an acute care setting preferably an academic medical center. Prior management experience a plus.
LICENSE & CERTIFICATION:
Kentucky RN License required. Professional certification in either a leadership or clinical specialty area strongly recommended. . If certification not present on hire it is to be obtained within 3 years of hire into position.
