Working on our Anglian Water contract we are looking for Trainee Drainage Operatives to join our Operational team supporting our CCTV workstream due to increased workload.
The job:
No Drainage experience is necessary as we will train you to the appropriate standard. As part of a team youll be shadowing/assisting a drainage engineer. The role will include a number of drainage related issues including emergencies such as blockages and cleaning pipes during maintenance programmes.
You will be trained and become familiar with CCTV equipment that monitor the water through the Utilities pipes. This equipment measures the heights and depths of the pipe as well as checking for any damages that needs to be recorded.
Experience and qualifications required for the role:
The training will consist of a breakdown of the equipment and how to use the equipment to show the drains and their defects.
You will be shown how to use Excel to do site drawings that show the layouts of the drains.
You will need to have a Full UK Drivers licence (no more than 6 points)
