Job Description
Job Title: Server
Location: Lake Ridge Village
Department: Food and Beverage
Reports to: Assistant Executive Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing outstanding customer service knowledgeable about our menu offerings and committed to creating a positive dining experience for our residents and guests. As a Server you will be responsible for taking orders serving food and beverages and ensuring resident satisfaction in a fastpaced sitdown dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options including specials and recommendations.
Take accurate food and drink orders from residents.
Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner and ensure that their needs are met during their dining experience.
Monitor resident satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area including resetting tables and restocking supplies as necessary.
Adhere to health and safety standards ensuring compliance with food handling and sanitation protocols.
Attend staff meetings and participate in training sessions to enhance service skills and knowledge of menu items.
**Qualifications:**
Previous experience as a Server or in a customer service role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
Ability to multitask and handle highpressure situations.
Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating tips.
Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to insert weight lbs.
Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
