Job Summary:
Envision Honda ofMilpitas is seeking an experienced Technician to join our team at our dealership in Milpitas California. As a fulltime Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing and performing repairs on all types of used vehicles brought into our service center. We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic attention to detail and a passion for the automotive industry. Compensation & Benefits:
This is a fulltime individual contributor position with a salary range of $50 to $65 per hour paid semimonthly. In addition to competitive compensation we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance dental and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan paid time off and employee discounts on vehicles and services.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in ALL vehicles
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes tire rotations and brake inspections
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and troubleshoot problems
Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and recommendations
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to dealership and manufacturer safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician preferably in a dealership setting
Must have own tools
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals and diagrams
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
