Job Description

Synerfac is seeking a Senior Engineer for our client in Rockville MD. The Senior Engineer will perform a variety of civil engineering functions in support of a variety of major projects in the region. The Senior Engineer must be career driven technologically savvy and able to adapt to a wide variety of project types and sizes.

The qualified candidate would be able to perform a diverse range of general civil engineering duties and requires strong capabilities in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
This position requires strong skills in creating land development plans water resource /stormwater management (SWM) design and reports sediment control plans and water sewer design.
Demonstrated ability to meet project and client deadlines and works efficiently to meet project budgets.
Prepares graphics exhibits and site / civil construction plans.
Communicates effectively with coworkers sub consultants clients and review agencies.
Composes technical reports memorandums and other written communication such as email.
Handles multiple concurrent projects.


BS degree in Civil Engineering
5 years of progressive experience directly related to design and construction of land development projects.
Ability to mentor and train other civil engineering design staff.
PE license is preferred but not required.
