Job Description
Reports To:Site Coordinator and Program Manager
Primary Location: Grand Valley Middle School Orwell
Salary:Parttime 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. $30.00 / Hour
Job Overview
The Enrichment Coach is responsible for the implementation of unique and engaging enrichment opportunities within the afterschool and summer programs. This position assists the Site Coordinator during program operations by planning and conducting identified enrichment activities.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of BCII/FBI background checks
- Ability to work flexible hours (e.g. evenings and weekends).
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with the Site Coordinator to identify various enrichment lessons that meet individual student needs.
- Plan and conduct unique and engaging enrichment activities for students.
- Utilize a variety of techniques to adapt to the individual learning styles of students.
- Collaborate with the Site Coordinator to develop an enrichment schedule to meet the needs of all students.
- Attend necessary training and professional development surrounding the program.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Superintendent.
Desired Skills and Abilities
- Excellent organizational and independent working skills.
- Proficient to advanced computer skill level. Knowledge of or ability to master utilization of all necessary computer programs (including MS Office applications Google Suite and internet research).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for community education and commitment to youth development and services.
