The Benelux practice has a broad and diversified client base working with most insurers present in the market. The team currently comprises of consultants consulting actuaries and data scientists across a range of experience levels and practice areas totaling around 50 people.

Role responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include some the following:

• Supporting and engaging with clients in all aspects of actuarial work including reserving pricing capital management and model development.
• Collectively manage the work within project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery to the client.
• Contribute to the development of the companys intellectual capital including plans for taking this to market.
• Working on the development of the business and building client relations.
• Leveraging knowledge through training development and mentoring of junior colleagues within Milliman.

Who are we looking for

Milliman Brussels is looking for a medior actuarial and financial risk professional with working experience and relevant technical skills in the Belgian nonlife insurance market. You will bring your own unique experience which will help you to further develop within our organization. You will be working with a team of actuaries on projects primarily with nonlife insurance clients but potentially also with health and life insurance clients.

The perfect Milliman candidate should be bright energetic able to maintain and develop client working relations manage work and be a motivator for our analysts and consultants.

Requirements:

• Actuarial consulting and/or relevant technical and managerial experience
• 5 years of relevant working experience in the Belgian nonlife insurance market
• Actuarial or technical studies background
• Fellow of the IABE or a similar association
• Energetic intelligent and selfmotivated
• Entrepreneurial able to maintain and develop client working relations
• Effective communication skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English and either French or Dutch
