Job Description
Elementary Intervention Specialist
JohnstownMonroe Schools is seeking a K5 Intervention Specialist for the 20252026 school year.
Qualifications:
- Hold an Ohio Teaching License to instruct special education students.
- Exhibit knowledge of designing lessons and using instructional strategies to support IEP goals.
- Be able to write IEPs and complete IEP progress reports.
- Have strong organizational and communication skills
- Possess a strong knowledge of and experience in implementing positive behavior support
- Have experience with coteaching and collaboration
- Skilled in providing intervention based on student needs
