About the Practice
Corewell Health Care Center located at 2009 Holton Road in Muskegon has an opening for a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy team. This position is a casual position working hours as needed during the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
About Outpatient Clinics
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Scope of work
Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patients responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses monitors detects plans and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
- ACLS Required within 180 days
- 1 year of experience as an RN working in an Endoscopy space strongly Preferred
