MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST MT/MLS/MLT
Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Medical Technologist to join the Rumford HospitalPathologyteam!
The Medical Technologist performs routine and complex procedures in blood bank chemistry hematology serology microbiology urinalysis and phlebotomy.
obtains and receives specimens performs clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures understands method principles performs quality control performs preventative maintenance and interprets results as to accuracy acceptability and critical limits.
works independently organizes work to meet established deadlines records all data obtained and maintains job competence.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Regulatory Requirements:
Certification as a Medical Technologist MT/MLS/MLT/CLT by ASCP or equivalent required within 6 months of hire.
Excellent computer and interpersonal skills.

Language Skills:
Able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Additional languages preferred.
