Job Description
Cloud Systems Administrator IV
This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) security clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Criterion Systems LLC is seeking a missionfocused Cloud Systems Administrator IVto support and contribute to our government customers success inReston Virginia.

Cloud Systems Administrator IV Responsibilities Include:
- Maintains smooth operation of multiuser computer systems including coordination with network engineers.
- Monitors and manages system resources including CPU usage disk usage and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
- Performs systems security administration functions including creating user profiles and accounts.
- Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provision/harden Linux operating systems.
- Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts maintaining system documentation tuning system performance installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
- Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned
Cloud Systems Administrator IV Experience Education Skills Abilities requested:
- Current TS/SCI security clearance with the ability and willingness to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph
- Bachelors degree in a related field of study (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Minimum of eight 8 years of related experience.
- Current IAT II or IAT III certification
- Strong Linux (CentOS RHEL and/or Oracle) skills with recent experience to include experience with Linux OS upgrades in a cloud environment.
- Experience working in an AWS environment and familiarity with console accesses to provision maintain and monitor servers.
- Familiarization with scripting and installing applications from root files.
- Working knowledge of reviewing of security scans applying fixes to resolve noted deficiencies and ability to work with and run STIGs via a viewer or other automated tools.
- Experience performing snapshots disaster recovery performance tuning.
- Experience with installation STIG hardening patching.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and Tier 1 communication skills.
- Experience developing and maintaining critical documentation (SIPs SAGs SOPs Getting started guides).
- Must pass preemployment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
