The Structures and Geohazards research group at FM is seeking a creative selfmotivated postdoc eager to expand their research experience beyond academia. Ideal candidates will have expertise in geodetic data analysis and interpretation. This role offers the opportunity to perform publishable work as part of a strategic research program focused on solving realworld science and engineering problems with immediate impact. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of a senior research staff. This position is for a limited term of up to three years renewable annually and will be based at our FM Office in Norwood MA USA.
Responsibilities:
Analyze multidecadal geodetic data documenting ground deformation (e.g. InSAR and GNSS).
Create visualization tools and implement statistical analyses to derive value from these data.
Develop predictive (machine learning) models to enable global monitoring of ground deformation.
This position is for a limited term of up to three years renewable each year.This position will be based out of our FM Office located in Norwood MA USA. The role is typically focused on performing publishable work as part of a strategic research program under the guidance of a program manager or other senior research staff member(s).
The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location individual education skills and experience.
