Summary
A popular authentic sushi restaurant is looking for a PartTime Kitchen Helper.
We have been running the restaurant for a long time in Heart of Waikiki and there is a beautiful beach stretching out in front of us.
We serve variety of sushi authentic Japanese Sushi fusion Sushi such as California rolls and original Hawaiian style sushi we are popular not only with tourists but also with locals and we have so many repeat customers.
The ideal candidate should be eager to learn have a positive attitude and be willing to assist in various kitchen tasks.
The opening is morning shift which offers consistent and predictable schedule and improving worklife balance.
Job Details
A Kitchen Helper is a support role in a kitchen assisting chefs and cooks with various tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Preparing the food ingredients as requested by the Sushi Chef
- Assist with food preparation including chopping food items including fruits vegetables fish and meat preparing sauces and assembling dishes
- Cleaning the kitchen station all the time
- Following all food safety and hygiene standards

Requirement
- Prior experience working in a kitchen or food service environment preferred but not required (onthejob training provided)

- High school diploma or its equivalent preferred but not required
- Must have a work permit in the United States
