Competitive Salary: $83000$86000 gross annually based on previous experience & education
Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure consistency in food preparation create innovative menus and maintain highquality standards.
- Lead daily briefings mentor colleagues and manage scheduling to optimize kitchen productivity.
- Engage with guests collaborate with venue managers for feedback and enhance dining experiences.
- Manage food inventory control costs and oversee procurement while maintaining cleanliness and safety.
- Uphold health sanitation and safety policies ensuring adherence to ALLSAFE protocols.
Qualifications :
Required experience:
- Red Seal Journeyperson Cook Certification or international equivalency
Or
- Completion of Rouxbe Culinary Foundations level 1 & 2. Receiving certification in both with a grade greater than 90 and 54 months 7020 hours) experience in relevant workplaces
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- 34 years of culinary supervisory/leadership experience preferably in a luxury or large kitchen environment.
- Safe Food Handling Certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Physically able to lift carry and pull up to 50 lbs; constant standing and walking throughout shifts.
- Comfortable working with kitchen equipment including ovens stoves mixers fryers steamers and freezers.
