Job Description
YOUR ROLE: Provide frontline technical support and continuous improvement to operations daily. Responsibilities include troubleshooting maintaining and identifying areas of improvement to better the uptime and reliability of control systems throughout the plant. Assist Controls Engineers in projects from concept through completion. Must have good teamwork and communication skills to smoothly implement key projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Frontline resource for daytoday troubleshooting of controls issues
- Assist other departments in troubleshooting and determining production issues
- Install and swap out damaged electrical or automation equipment
- Perform emergency controls troubleshooting and fixes on equipment and facility systems
- Assist Controls Engineers with projects and implementing improvements
- Aid in the installation of equipment repairs upgrades panel building and wiring as needed
- Understand all automation equipment used throughout the plant
- Ensure work is being completed professionally and to ThermaTru Controls department standards
Qualifications :
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience or background in control systems or coding
- High school diploma or GED
- Computer literate
- Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a group
- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Postsecondary electrical and/or mechanical vocational training
- Knowledge and experience of Rockwell Software and Allen Bradley controllers
- Ability to navigate via PLC operation sequence I/O information and instrumentation feedback
- Knowledge of Fanuc robotics
