Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon Fri; 7:00a 3:30p
OnCall Shift Schedule: Nights & 24hour call coverage
Call Type: 1st & 2nd Call
Call Ratio: 1:4
Call Response Time: 15 minutes
Callback Rate: Included in call coverage

Start: June 16 2025
Minimum Shift Requirement: Ideally 15 shifts per month

PATIENT INFORMATION
Patient Demographics: Primarily adult; no peds required; no highrisk peds
Patient Volume: 4 5 cases/day
No. of Annual Deliveries: Approx. 700 800
Case Mix: Bread & butter cases; High volume Ortho and General Surgery; OB during call
Duties/Procedures:
Primary Anesthesiologist on bread & butter surgical cases
Regional blocks for OR cases
May rarely supervise a CRNA
No CT neuro or cranial cases
Preferred specialties: OB/Gyn ortho general surgery plastic vascular colorectal ENT GI urology

Support Staff Available: 2 CRNAs anesthesia techs PAs nurses OR techs directors & managers

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide anesthesia services for inpatient surgical cases
Perform regional blocks and manage OR cases independently
Participate in night and 24hour call coverage with 15minute response time
Handle OB and L&D during call shifts
Utilize Epic for documentation
Collaborate with perioperative staff and complete onboarding protocols
