In this role you will be working as an Electrical Department Head for a client that provides mechanical electrical plumbing security and information technology design commissioning and design/build services for renovated and new buildings in the commercial space. This position will be responsible for:
- Project and workload management within the Electrical Engineering department retrofitting schools healthcare locations and other niche industries to include aviation 6070 of the time)
- Mentoring young PE staff and being a resource for their professional growth 3040 of the time)
- Design work as needed
- Design review
This position is a temporary to possible permanent role that may become a long term need for my client. This role must be worked onsite/inoffice with local travel only based on project needs.
Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
Job Requirements
- 7 years of experience as a practicing PE required
- Medium voltage experience required
- Experience in Revit AutoCAD SKM Arc Flash and BIM 360 required
- Excellent communication and delegation skills in support of mentoring a team
