- Experience:
- 56 years of experience in both MSSQL and Oracle databases Administration (PostgreSQL & MongoDB Experience will be plus)
- About the Role: Seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with 56 years of expertise in managing MSSQL and Oracle databases.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the complete administration like migrations implementation performance integrity and security of MSSQL and Oracle databases They will also be involved in the planning and development of the database as well as troubleshooting issues. Key Responsibilities
- Design install configure and maintain MSSQL and Oracle databases.
- Ensure high levels of performance availability sustainability and security. experience on HA DR implementation.
- Monitor database performance implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.
- Performance Tuning and Optimization.
- Database Migrations (hetero & homogenous migrations) on prime as well as cloud
- Optimize database systems for performance and reliability.
- Implement and manage database backup restore and recovery processes.
- Implement and enforce database security policies.
- Manage user access and permissions to ensure data privacy and security.
- Provide support and resolve databaserelated issues for internal teams and users.
- Document database configurations procedures and policies.
- Generate reports on database performance usage and other metrics.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans & conducting mock drill for effective failovers Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MSSQL and Oracle database management and administration.
- Strong knowledge of SQL PL/SQL and TSQL.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and techniques.
- Understanding of database security best practices.
- Experience with data migration and integration projects. Preferred Qualifications
- Azure Database Administrator Associate Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or similar are preferred.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Detailoriented and highly organized.
