Civil Engineer for Plant Engineering (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities:
- Independent planning and technical management of demanding plant engineering tasks in our (inter)national chemical plant engineering projects with different objectives such as replacement of plant components new construction of plants capacity expansions energy optimisation use of modern environmental technologies.
- Responsibility and project controlling for quality costs deadlines safety and environmental protection in the specialist area in all phases of the project: from the concept to the detailed planning and procurement to the construction management and assembly monitoring on site in our plants in Germany and abroad.
- Independent development and evaluation of complex construction concepts options and strategies for industrial construction projects including cost estimation and scheduling
- Contract management
- Management and coordination of the specialist groups and external companies involved
- Technical specialist and point of contact for regulations and ensuring subjectspecific expertise
- Familiarisation with special areas such as acid protection construction fire protection and water resources law
- Construction consulting and support for the KRONOS plants
Your Profile:
- Degree in civil engineering
- Several years of professional experience in the responsible management and organisation of construction tasks and management of construction projects ideally in the chemical industry in an international working environment
- Indepth knowledge of plant and cost planning project management and in the field of structural engineering
- Knowledge of relevant legal requirements (including BImSchG AwSV building permit)
- Structured independent and analytical way of working strong communication skills and strong team skills
- A high degree of personal responsibility diligence resilience and flexibility
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office applications knowledge of Autocad 2019 and SAP
- Building certification authorisation in North RhineWestphalia
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel
