THE ROLE: The Service Center Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing service activities at service center locations in a safe and efficient manner. This role proactively troubleshoots systems works with mechanical electrical diesel equipment conditions conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory and anticipates and corrects safety issues. The ideal candidate will be based in Brooklyn Queens Long Island Manhattan.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Some travel required 2030 travel depending on division & location
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 25years of experience and/or training or combination of educationtrainingand experience.
- Diesel engine experience required
- Ability to diagnose complexmechanical and electricalproblems.
- Knowledgeof methods materialstoolsand techniques used in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Basic understanding of pump station electrical controls and monitoring devices.
- General AC and DC electric and circuit testing skills.
- Safety practices and procedures.
- Valid drivers license with good driving record.
- DOT Medical card or ability to obtain.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision; selfmotivated and selfdirected.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customerscoworkersand managers.
DAY IN THE LIFE:
In this role the shop working environment is typically in an indoor workshop. The working environment will occasionally be outdoors in weather extremities. Use of PPE exposures to hazardous material loud noise etc. and the physical demands may include but not limited to regularly sitting standinglifting upto 50 lbs addition this role may requirefrequenttravel to customer sites and oncall as a regular part of the job.
