The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team at Aloft & Element Miami Doral assisting with administrative tasks client interactions and event coordination to drive revenue growth. This role involves managing sales operations handling reservations and contracts and ensuring exceptional customer service to maximize business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Support
Assist the Director of Sales and sales managers with prospecting client outreach and followups.
Prepare and process contracts proposals and group bookings.
Coordinate site visits and property tours for potential clients.
Maintain accurate records of leads bookings and revenue in the sales system.
Event Coordination &
Support sales managers in planning and executing corporate meetings social events and group reservations.
Liaise between clients catering and operations teams to ensure seamless event .
Assist with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and function space allocations.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
Update and manage the Sales CRM system (e.g. Marriott CI/TY SalesForce).
Generate sales reports track revenue and monitor performance metrics.
Maintain and organize client databases contracts and promotional materials.
Assist with the creation and distribution of sales collateral and presentations.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
Respond to client inquiries and RFPs in a timely and professional manner.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate accounts travel agencies and event planners.
Handle guest concerns and escalate issues to management as needed.
12 years of hotel sales front office or administrative experience preferably in Marriott properties.
Knowledge of Marriott systems (e.g. CI/TY MarRFP One Yield) is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple departments.
Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
