Chubb is looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Test Plan Ownership: You will take charge of creating and executing test plans collaborating closely with Product Managers Business Analysts and Developers
- Release Process Assurance: Ensuring that software adheres to specifications during the release process
- Fundamental Testing Contributions: Applying essential testing concepts and making valuable contributions to our overall testing strategy
- User Acceptance Regression and Functional Testing: youll be involved in designing specifying writing and executing tests in these critical areas
- Fundamental Testing Contributions: By applying essential testing concepts youll make valuable contributions to our overall testing strategy
- Automated Testing and Script Maintenance: Youll write automated tests and maintain a library of test scripts and scenarios for . You have a fascination for automation
- Monitoring Live Production Systems: Through synthetic and similar tests youll proactively identify defects in live production systems.
- Holistic View of Quality Assurance: Youll participate in every feature of the softwares development cycle starting from its early stages.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 13 years of experience in complex business and technical environments in the QA space presence with Remote Distributed Teams: Youve worked effectively with remote highly distributed teams.
- Ownership of Test Plans and Strategies: You have experience owning test plans and defining test strategies.
- Testing Expertise: Youre skilled in testing web applications REST APIs and mobile applications. Your understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP REST SSL HTML JS) is strong.
- Test Automation Proficiency: While specific tools are less critical you understand the principles behind test automation. Familiarity with tools like Playwright Selenium Gherkins Postman and Fiddler is required.
- Performance Testing Knowledge: Youre familiar with performance testing tools and optimization concepts.
- SDLC and Agile Experience: Youve worked within the Software Development Life Cycle
(SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Very experienced with Jira and Jira testing concepts and constructs.
