Duties and responsibilities of the high school varsity sideline and comp cheer assistant coach:
- Must have proficiency in the fundamentals of cheer and be able to assist in teaching proper techniques to the athletes at the 7th and 12th grade level
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with athletes parents and coaches
- Experience in cheerleading
- The assistant coachs leadership must positively impact the physical spiritual social and emotional development of studentathletes
- Maintain the highest order of professionalism and display the highest level of ethical and moral behavior at all times including building positive relationships with athletes coaches parents and the community
- Help to create a Christcentered environment and team culture of service to others that reflects the Lipscomb Academy Mission Statement
- Help to guide studentathletes in learning appropriate sportsmanship cooperation work ethic personal responsibility and competitiveness to all studentathletes
- Help incorporate spiritual service and fellowship opportunities for your squad to bond together and within the community
- Available to practice 2 afternoons per week during both Football and Basketball seasons (August February)
- Available for Home games during weekdays (August February)
- SUMMER: Available for RODEO WEEK 1: June 913 UCA Cheer Camp in July at TN Tech 1518 RODEO WEEK 2: July 28 Aug 1.
