Conduct UV unwrapping texturing and material setup.
Develop both highpoly and lowpoly models ensuring optimal topology and mesh efficiency for realtime applications.
Perform retopology and mesh optimization according to engine and animation requirements.
Integrate and configure content within Unreal Engine 5.
Work closely with the Art Director and art team to define and maintain a cohesive character style.
Collaborate with the whole team to ensure consistency with the overall project vision.
Participate in critiques iterate on feedback and contribute to the evolution of character designs.
Take part in planning and scheduling the character creation pipeline.
Who are we looking for
3D Generalist with a strong focus on character modeling.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a 3D Character Artist in the game industry.
Proven experience in creating nonrealistic/stylized characters for video games.
High proficiency in Blender.
Solid understanding of the full gameready character pipeline (highpoly to lowpoly retopology UVs texturing engine integration).
Strong artistic sense: excellent grasp of form silhouette shape and structure in character modeling.
Ability to interpret and faithfully translate 2D concept art into 3D models.
Awareness of current trends and best practices in character creation for games.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Comfortable working in a crossdisciplinary team environment.

We give preference to candidates with:
Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 and an understanding of the entire pipeline for model integration into the engine.
Familiarity with rigging and skinning pipelines ensuring the efficient functionality of character models within gameplay mechanics.
Proficiency with other game development tools like Substance Painter ZBrush or similar.
