Job Description:
An established independent insurance broker based in Harrogate is seeking an experienced Claims Professional to join its growing and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and clientfocused environment where your skills and expertise will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the endtoend claims process across various commercial and personal lines.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the claims journey providing clear guidance and updates.

Liaise effectively with insurers loss adjusters and other third parties to ensure timely and fair claim settlements.

Assist account handlers and executives with claimsrelated queries.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company and regulatory standards.

Contribute to continuous improvement of claims processes and client service delivery.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience in an insurance claims handling role ideally within a brokerage environment.

Strong understanding of commercial and/or personal lines insurance.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proactive organised and clientfocused approach.

Familiarity with insurance systems (e.g. Acturis) is an advantage.
