Job Description
Common Accountabilities:
Proficient in technical knowledge to ensure team performs at a high level. Is recognized as a leader in own area and may formally train Specialists/Senior Specialists.
Understands how main business drivers may impact on own area. Can assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity improve processes recommend solutions and risk mitigation plans. Able to communicate complex information.
Works with a high level of autonomy based on management directions. Leads projects or contributes to broad crossfunctional projects. May contribute to planning of resources and budget.

Technical Excellence
Master QA methodology
For complex/crossfunctional solutions analyze write and execute test standards and procedures
Document analyze root cause and recommend corrective actions for defects
Master QA tools environments and test automation solutions
Serve as the owner of quality and release processes for the responsible team ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous quality standards before deployment
Define and enforce quality gates and release criteria in collaboration with the team and stakeholders
Oversee the endtoend release lifecycle ensuring timely and reliable software delivery
Leverage Robot Framework to design implement and maintain advanced automated test suites utilizing its keyworddriven approach to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient across the team s deliverables
Functional Excellence
Hold a proficient product domain knowledge incl. relevant business processes & scenarios and a proficient understanding of customer needs
Lead customer triages/debug sessions and help the team with reproducing the problem inhouse
Drive Continuous and Sustainable Improvement
Participate in internal/external forums and lead departmentwise discussions around QA methodology/framework/tooling evolution
Strive to maintain very highquality standards for Amadeus products
Contribute to patents and technical events in the QA area
Propose relevant KPI and ways of measuring them efficiently for both software deliverables and compliance with Amadeus Quality Standards
Ensure adoption and improvement of testing tools & environments: promote existing ones to avoid duplication evaluate them and recommend improvements
Be responsible for strengthening the automation framework and enhancing the quality of test and regression cases for the team
Drive automation initiatives including identifying opportunities for test automation and ensuring robust scalable regression suites
Participate to the understanding measurement and reduction of the environmental impact of the tested applications and associated QA activities
Lead change management for all changes concerning the responsible team ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
Develop and maintain change management processes including documentation impact analysis and communication plans for teamrelated updates
Building Relations & Knowledge Sharing
Coach mentor & train less experienced QA Engineers Software Development Engineers and Product Definition Analysts on quality assurance skills and professionalization
Actively participate in the construction maintenance and deployment of the onboarding of new colleagues
Provide consulting on test automation issues testing tools QA processes and functional test coverage
Attend to Quality and Principal QA Engineer community events
