Position Overview

We are currently hiring a Table Grinder to join our production team in Tulsa. This role is responsible for grinding smoothing and finishing metal parts to specified tolerances using tablemounted grinding tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate tablemounted grinding machines to remove excess material and achieve precise finishes on metal components.

Inspect workpieces for defects and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Interpret blueprints work orders and production drawings to determine grinding specifications.

Select appropriate grinding wheels tools and attachments based on job requirements.

Perform routine maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean organized work area.

Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to enhance workflow and product quality.

Accurately document production tasks and quality checks as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in grinding or metal fabrication/machining environments.

Familiarity with grinding tools machines and measuring instruments.

Excellent manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts.
