Job Description
- Lead or contribute to the design development and maintenance of enterpriselevel applications using PowerBuilder.
- Develop solutions on the Windows platform with a strong focus on performance and reliability.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write optimize and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to interact with relational databases such as MS SQL Server.
- Collaborate using version control systems such as Git or SVN to manage code changes effectively.
- Participate in agile development practices and contribute to sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
- 6 8 years of professional experience in software development with a significant focus on PowerBuilder.
- Proven experience developing applications on the Windows platform.
- Strong SQL expertise and solid experience working with relational databases preferably MS SQL Server.
- Familiarity with BEA WebLogic Application Server is a plus.
- Experience with version control tools like Git or SVN.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and practices.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Quickly understand and interpret complex business logic.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
