Job Description
Are you a talented and detailoriented Financial Accountant with strong technical skills and a passion for excellence Were seeking a driven individual to join a dynamic international finance team in Frankfurt on an initial 6month contract with the strong potential to transition into a permanent fulltime role based on performance.

What Youll Do:
Lead monthend close activities including journal entries balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis
Prepare statutory financial statements under German GAAP and IFRS
Support external audits and ensure timely completion of statutory obligations
Assist in the preparation of tax and VAT returns and reconcile related accounts
Handle Accounts Payable and serve as the point of contact for T&E queries
Collaborate with the payroll team and support payroll postings and reviews
Contribute to ongoing legal entity rationalization projects
Requirements
What You Bring:
ACA / ACCA / CPA / CA or equivalent qualification
Minimum 3 years experience in accounting or financial reporting
Strong knowledge of German GAAP IFRS and internal controls
Experience with VAT tax accounting and audit preparation
Fluency in English (German is a plus)
Meticulous attention to detail and an analytical mindset
A handson collaborative approach with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Basic Qualifications: Accounting Bachelor s or Master s degree. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research abilities with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Willingness to work rotational shifts as per business needs. Preferred Qualifications: 1 3 years of relevant experience. Experience using Salesforce or Oracle.
