Senior Financial Controller to CapMan Real Estate Stockholm

We are expanding our finance team and looking for a new colleague based in Stockholm. This is a unique opportunity raised as result of CapMan expanding its hotel portfolio by a recently completed acquisition of 28 hotel portfolio in Sweden Norway and Denmark one of the largest hotel real estate transactions in the Nordics which significantly expands our Nordic hotel platform and real estate portfolio.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead the financial management of our acquired portfolio. In this role you will be responsible for financial reporting and administration related to CapMans real estate investments across the Nordic countries working closely with our asset and investment management teams Your location will be in our Stockholm office but in your role youll have a chance to work with colleagues from all of CapMans different locations on a daily basis.

Your Responsibilities

In this position you will have a versatile role with the financial management and reporting of real estate investments.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Consolidation and group reporting of the named real estate portfolios managed by CapMan Real Estate
• Overall responsibility and ownership of financial reporting processes related to named real estate portfolios and investments
• Managing the audit processes and management reporting
• Assisting investment and asset management teams in property acquisition and disposal processes including participation in due diligence processes and taking over acquired properties
• Providing decisionmaking support to investment and asset management teams to plan and execute value creation initiatives
• Participation in developing CapMan Real Estates reporting processes and systems and other financial administration processes.

The following skills competencies and experience will help you to succeed in the role:

• Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience from financial accounting and reporting
• Good understanding on consolidated financial statements and group reporting
• Excellent command of Swedish GAAP and IFRS reporting
• Familiarity with tax legislation (CIT VAT RE related taxes)
• Relevant experience from similar or corresponding tasks (e.g. from financial controlling or from big four audit firm).
• Experience in accounting information and reporting systems. Experience on real estate and real estate funds is appreciated but not mandatory.

You hold a university degree from relevant field of study (accounting finance business administration). Swedish as well as English is required (native/professional working proficiency). Other Scandinavian languages are considered a merit as we operate in the Nordic region.

CapMan Hotels II (CMH II) has signed an agreement to acquire Midstar Fastigheter AB a wellestablished Nordic hotel real estate portfolio encompassing 28 assets in the Nordics. This transaction is one of the largest of its kind in the region and significantly expands and diversifies CapMan Hotels IIs Nordic hotel portfolio strengthening its position as a key player in the Nordic hotel investment market.
