The Clinical Care Program is currently seeking aparttime temporary Program Assistant to work on the Crisis Critical Care Unit 4. This is an exciting and unique professional opportunity! You will help contribute to development of programming and clinical processes.
The model of care on the unit will emphasize treatment of concurrent disorders and patient engagement in therapeutic programming and you will have opportunities for capacity building and skill development.

You will support a workplace that embraces diversity encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements. This position involves shift rotation and weekend work. The position is located at the Queen Street Site and istwelve 12 hour shifts.
The successful candidate will have a Secondary School diploma or equivalent and preference will be given to candidates that have 1 year experience in a health care related field. The successful candidate will possess a Personal Care Worker Certificate or possess or be in the process of pursuing a certificate/diploma/degree in a health care discipline. CPR is considered as an asset. Ability to work with diverse clients and staff is required. Familiarity with clinical care and issues specific to mental health and or addictions settings is preferred. Familiarity with clinical care and issues specific to mental health and or addictions settings is preferred. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.
