Job Description
Responsibilities
- Review enter and process PO and nonPO invoices.
- Respond to vendor and internal AP inquiries.
- Obtain internal approval of nonPO invoices.
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify and investigate discrepancies if any by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in accounting with a focus on accounts payable preferred but not required.
- Advanced computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse groups of people.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of job costing preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
