BECOME A TRAINING SUPERVISOR AT PRIMEFLIGHT!

Our Training Supervisor is a critical role responsible for overseeing safety protocols and training programs to ensure a secure and knowledgeable workforce including ground handlers. This position involves developing implementing and managing safety policies and procedures conducting safety audits and identifying potential risks within operations. You will also be responsible for designing and delivering training programs to ensure that employees including ground handlers are wellprepared and compliant with safety regulations. Additionally this role requires collaborating with various departments to promote safety awareness and drive continuous improvement in safety practices.

WHAT ITS LIKE TO WORK AS A TRAINING SUPERVISOR

  • Design implement and manage comprehensive training programs for service staff including ground handlers ensuring alignment with safety protocols and industry standards
  • Create and deliver specialized training programs for ground handlers covering operational safety equipment handling and emergency procedures
  • Step in to fulfill the role of a ground handler in the event of an absence ensuring continuous and smooth operations on the ramp
  • Provide handson onthejob training to ground handlers to ensure they gain practical experience while adhering to safety standards
  • Stay current with safety regulations and ensure all training programs comply with local state and federal requirements as well as industry best practices
  • Perform regular safety audits inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take proactive steps to mitigate risks
  • Provide detailed safety training and orientation for new employees including ground handlers to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for their roles
  • Conduct regular safety meetings workshops and presentations for ground handlers and other staff to promote safety awareness and ensure adherence to protocols
  • Investigate safety incidents or accidents involving ground handlers or other staff identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive measures
  • Continuously review and update safety manuals procedures and other documentation to reflect current safety standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a unified approach to safety protocols across the organization
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with staff and stakeholders providing ongoing guidance and support on safety matters
  • Brings their A game every day with energy and enthusiasm respect for their team and the highest regard for safety
  • May be assigned other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • 3 years of supervisory experience with a background in ramp operations
  • Indepth knowledge of safety regulations industry standards and best practices
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills with the ability to foster a culture of safety
  • Must have a valid stateissued drivers license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to read write speak and understand the English language to include documents
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets Computers and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients both inperson and through electronic means
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • : Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA TSA Port Authority U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal as applicable)
  • Airlines are 24/7 so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays

  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (threedimensional vision ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

The pay rate listed on this post is what the company reasonably expects to pay for this position. However individual compensation may vary based on factors including qualifications skills competencies education and experience.
