The Department/Team
The Finance and Accounting team works directly with our professional services consultants clients operations staff and other internal teams to ensure accurate fiscal management and compliance with financial regulations and laws. The team also provides reporting and analysis to help with the organizations business strategy sales and growth goals.
Your Role/What Youll Do
The Finance/Accounting Associate role is an integral part of finance team and provides support in the areas of accounts receivable accounts payable bank deposits vendor relations monthend close yearend reporting and other administrative tasks.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create invoices and ensure timely delivery to clients per the billing schedules.
- Maintain electronic filing system of invoices payments client/vendor agreements and other records in compliance with internal and regulatory agencies record retention policies.
- Apply payments and investigate any discrepancies between payments and invoices.
- Assist with Monthend yearend close and audits.
- Reconcile and process vendor invoices per the agreements.
- Work closely with internal and external clients and respond to queries.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend new strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Knowledge Experience Skills
Job Knowledge Required:
- Medium to advanced excel skills with ability to manage to large data sets.
- Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn multiple software applications.
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
Experience and Soft Skills Required:
- Bachelors degree in finance Accounting or another similarly relevant program of study.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Time management skills and ability to multitask to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and problemsolving abilities.
- Strong work ethics integrity and reliability.
- Selfmotivated with ability to work independently.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $47000 $89000 depending on a combination of factors including but not limited to education relevant work experience qualifications skills certifications location etc.
Location
This is a remote position. Candidates hired into this role may work onsite in select Milliman office locations if they prefer. The expected application deadline for this job is May 30 2025.
