Marriott has owneroperators and thirdparty management companies who own and/or operate many of our 30 HR Solutions by Marriott is an HR solutions group that curates and provides access to leading HR service providers and solutions at preferred rates to Marriotts franchise community. Our portfolio of service offerings cover Talent Acquisition Temp Staffing HR Tools Benefits and Engagement. This role plays an integral part in helping to deliver valueadd optional HR solutions to our franchisees in order to improve our franchisee and vendor relationships and help the company maintain its position as a leading franchisor.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Implement and Maintain Operational Tools and Processes
Assist in CRM (Salesforce) migration
Create new finance processes utilizing Salesforce; migrate hotels/FMC account information from current system
Use Salesforce to track and maintain all vendor account information and team financials through dashboards custom reports etc
Where needed help collect feedback from franchisee community and our vendors
Assist in any pushdown tasks for property related services via landit
Assist with the of system enhancements and new system design for Salesforce Talentpoint MGS and Vendor Portals
Finance/Accounting
Manage all revenue and payment operations
Ensure that team has realtime information on all aspects of the teams revenue and expenses including status of referral/rebates owed by vendors invoices etc.
Serve as lead for business operations and finance department interactions; maintain a regular cadence with our Finance Business Partner (FBP)
Conduct proactive outreach to vendors to ensure invoices are paid and settled
Develop monthly quarterly yearly financial reports and executive level reports to be shared with leadership and team
Develop revenue and operating forecasts revising as needed throughout the year
Proactively conduct financial trend analysis
Use TalentPoint website and internal intranet analytics and other data to advise team on takerates for various service offerings customer areas of interests etc. to help guide teams focus
Produce deployment strategies through financial analytics and consistently bring ideas forward to leadership and the team
Conduct vendor audits on a consistent basis to ensure referral fees/rebates are being properly reported and paid
Service Offerings and Vendor Relations
Gain deep understanding of our vendors and the service offerings we make available to our Franchisees
Work with FBP leadership sales and vendor/Marriott COE to create/model pricing scenarios for new service offerings ensuring that the pricing set is both competitive and viable
Establish/Maintain regular cadence with vendors (biweekly with high volume vendors) to strategize on pricing takerates and any changes that should be considered
Work with Sales on strategies and ideas for increasing take rates
Develop and provide reporting on all leads/projects in Salesforce
Assist team to curate a portfolio of valueadd vendor solutions for Marriotts Franchisees with a focus of driving cost savings for our Franchisees
Assist in deployment of new Flex vendor management software and services as well as other new programs that the team makes available to Franchisees
Assist in developing Stakeholder Management Plans for all our accounts including aligning appropriate service offerings based on Franchisees size and needs
Attend conferences as requested and present service offerings to internal stakeholders and Franchisees
YOURE WHO WERE LOOKING FOR IF YOU:
Have experience in finance accounting consulting HR services revenue management and technology
Have mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
Successful at managing predicting and analyzing budgets
The ideal candidate will have experience managing collections with multiple vendor services
Comfortable delivering executive level financial presentations
Experience in CRM platforms. Salesforce experience highly desired
Have knowledge of Marriotts brands culture business goals
Knowledge in websites and managing them (Wordpress experience is a big plus)
Demonstrate strong time management executive presence and selfstarter/entrepreneurial approach
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required:
High school diploma or GED; 6 years experience in hospitality finance accounting or revenue management
or
4year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management Hospitality Business Administration Finance Accounting or related major;
35 years experience in the hospitality and finance
Preferred:
Experience in a highgrowth HR services business affiliated with a Fortune 500 Company
Ability to see trends and make valuable contributions to how we address them.
Experience with complex services or solutions
Knowledge of project management and being comfortable with being a part of many moving projects at once
The pay range for this position is $39.03 to $61.20 per hour.
