Role:Security Officer (Unarmed)
Location:Columbia MO
Shift: Days Night Swing and Overnight
Schedule: Weekdays & Weekends Flexible PartTime Openings
Pay:$16.50 18.00/HR

Were hiring parttime Security Officers in Columbia MO to protect people property and peace of mind. Whether youre a seasoned pro or new to securitywell provide training and help you succeed. This is a flexible role offering a variety of shifts (including weekends and overnights) and the opportunity to work at one or more locations.
Your mission: be a visible presence help prevent risks support safety protocols and respond quickly and professionally to incidents. Were especially interested in candidates with backgrounds in security military or law enforcement but we welcome anyone with strong judgment professionalism and commitment to safety.

Job Functions
- Security Presence & Defense: Serve as the first line of defense for clients and sites
- Hazard Awareness: Identify and address safety concerns
- Risk Assessment: Conduct ongoing risk evaluations
- Access Control: Manage access to restricted areas and information
- Guidance: Direct and assist patrons visitors and staff.
- Customer Service: Deliver positive interactions with a pleasant and helpful demeanor
- Collaboration: Work with local law enforcement and other security personnel to maintain highest safety standards
- Incident Response:Respond to client security concerns and reports of incidents as they come through the dispatch line
- Incident Documentation: Record and report all security and safety incidents and concerns
Requirements
- Employment Eligibility: Provide 2 forms of ID and eligibility/authorization to work in the US
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Attitude: Maintain a calm professional and customer serviceoriented demeanor
- Language Skills: Fluent in English speaking reading/writing. Spanish is a bonus
- Screening: Ability to pass a urinalysis (site dependent) and criminal background check
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work
- Tech Literacy: Basic technology skills and ownership of a working smartphone and accessible email account
- Physical Ability: Can stand sit walk jog crouch bend over and carry 50lbs in a variety of weather conditions and work environments
$16.50 $18 an hour
