Job Duties
The Department of Physics at Norfolk State University (NSU) invites applications for tenuretrack faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in the field of Quantum Science. The physics department offers a BS in physics an MS in Materials Science and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. We are seeking faculty with expertise in quantum optics and quantum enabled optoelectronic device integration technologies. The appointment is expected to begin August 2025 the position remains open until it is filled.
