Alcon is seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing developing and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our business. This position requires a solid understanding of Salesforce technologies and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
In this role a typical day will include:
- Design develop test and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex Visualforce and Lightning Web Components.
- Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications.
- Collaborate with senior developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the Salesforce environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications.
- Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Foster crossfunctional collaboration to ensure comprehensive solutions.
- Uphold code quality standards and Salesforce best practices.
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Salesforce development.
- Strong expertise in Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components and Salesforce integration.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
- Excellent problemsolving and criticalthinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I).
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
