Job Description
Threevacancies exists fornurses to support theSteps to Success at the following locations: Rosemont Elementary Spring Mills Primary and Valley View Elementary.
Schedule*
June 16th to July 15th Monday through Thursday
June 19th Paid Holiday
June 15th Full Day of work (Students last day in the AM/Clean up in the PM)
Employment term will consist ofHalf Days Monday Thursday 8:15am 11:45pm. Prep Days are June 11 and June 12.

Job Type Description
Berkeley County Schools seeks a qualified compassionate candidate to work as school nurse in assigned locations and to meet our students various needs. The successful candidate will also be expected to perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The major focus of school nursing services is the prevention of illness and disability and the early detection and correction of health problems while maintaining strict confidentiality. The school nurse is responsible for upgrading and maintaining professional skills.
Salary Schedule
Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience.
Qualifications Requirements
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy.
Bachelors Degree in nursing RN certification and holds or can obtain West Virginia Student Support certification as a school nurse.

If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position then an applicant who is eligible for a firstclass permit can be considered.
