The Digital Products Platforms & Services team is a newly formed team that sits within Growth Digital & Platforms (GDP) global function and is responsible for designing developing & rolling out stateoftheart digital products across brands regions & divisions globally and helping our brands accelerate organic growth and bringing the petcare ecosystem to life.
We are looking for a talented and forwardthinking Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team dedicated to advancing our Consent Identity & Single SignOn (SSO) capabilities. As a key member of our Consent ID & SSO team you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience by building Software Development Kits (SDKs) and contributing to the creation of Mars Petcares Preference Center. Your mission will extend to supporting our markets and divisions in seamlessly integrating with our cuttingedge Single SignOn product. Your strong technical acumen motivation and proactive approach will be instrumental in designing and deploying frontend solutions that enhance user authentication elevate data security and ensure a seamless integration experience. Be an integral part of our team contributing to the innovation and excellence that drive the success of our SSO solutions and empower our users worldwide.
MUST HAVE
Strong proficiency in frontend technologies including JavaScript and React to design and implement user interfaces that align with best practices and optimize the user experience within the Consent Identity & SSO domain.
Indepth knowledge and understanding of Single SignOn (SSO) and Consent products showcasing an awareness of their critical role in enhancing and securing customer experiences within digital platforms.
Understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience collaborating with designers to create visually appealing and userfriendly interfaces within the Consent Identity & SSO domain.
Familiarity with authentication protocols and standards such as OAuth and OpenID Connect to enhance understanding of authentication processes within the Consent and Identity domain.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration between business units and the development team in the context of frontend engineering. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Experience in ensuring crossbrowser compatibility for frontend solutions ensuring a consistent and optimal user experience across different web browsers.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including developers business analysts and stakeholders. Skill in translating business requirements into successful frontend solutions within the Consent Identity & SSO domain.
NICE TO HAVE
Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks beyond React such as Angular or showcasing versatility in adapting to various technology stacks.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines showcasing an understanding of automated testing and deployment processes.
Experience working in an Agile development environment with an understanding of Agile methodologies and practices to contribute effectively within an iterative development cycle.
