Job Description

What You Can Expect

As the Construction Management II you will have the critical role of managing safe and efficient construction projectsfocused on Energy and Utility improvements across the University of Iowa. Youwill also walk job sites and coordinate with GIS analysts and locators to make sure buried utilities are properly identified and that construction work and job safety plans take these potential hazards into account. Additionally you will be expected to provide oversight of safety and QA/QC of the workto ensure the work meets specifications and passes required inspections.

  • Provide field input to assist the project manager in tracking and reporting of schedule and budget performance during the construction phase
  • Partner with project engineers to develop a project procedures manual providing the framework for construction addressing mechanical civil electrical instrumentation & controls and administrative fundamental requirements

What Youll Bring

  • A minimum of high school (HS) diplomaor GED
  • A minimum of two 2 years of experience in the management of industrial or complex construction projects
  • A proficiency Microsoft Office Procore or other Project Management tools

Additional Details

  • Not eligible for ENGIE Hybrid Schedule (this position is requires daily presence on active construction sites)
  • Some Night or weekend work is possible based on project schedules
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • OSHA 10 certification is required within first 30 days OSHA 30 certification within one year of hiring
  • Must possess a valid state issued drivers license and clean driving record
  • Ability to access confined spaces and areas of varying temperature

Compensation

Salary Range: $74500 $114195 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal state and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography experience education internal pay alignment or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
