Job Description
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Maintain and enhance existing electronic products to ensure reliability performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide expert technical support to production and customer service teams in resolving electronicrelated issues.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to electronic circuits and systems in existing products.
- Propose and implement design modifications to improve product reliability and manufacturability.
- Evaluate and qualify alternate components for obsolete or endoflife parts ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Update and maintain comprehensive documentation including design specifications test plans and troubleshooting guides.
- Work closely with manufacturing quality assurance supply chain and other departments to support product lifecycle activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and manage sustaining projects including coordinating tasks resources and timelines to achieve project goals.
- Ensure quality of deliverables by performing indepth technical review.
- Give direction on EMI/EMC testing for product certification and compliance purpose.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices in embedded systems engineering.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes tools and methodologies.
- Provide training and support to junior engineers promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Ensure products meet all relevant regulatory and safety standards through testing and certification processes.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 710 years of experience in electronics engineering with a focus on sustaining engineering and product support.
- Proficiency in electronic circuit design simulation and analysis tools (e.g. Altium SPICE).
- Experience with PCB layout and design.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuitry power electronics and embedded systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electronic systems and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. RED LVD RoHS UL CE ATEX etc..
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical information.
- Demonstrated experience with debugging tools and techniques including oscilloscopes logic analyzers and JTAG debuggers.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to lead projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Prior experience in the industrial automation or control systems industry.
- Experience with firmware development and programming languages (e.g. C/C).
