A vacancy has arisen for a Field Service Engineer LWE MK Products to support our United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland mobile tower crane customers. The role contributes to the success of LiebherrGreat Britain Ltd and Liebherr Construction EquipmentIreland Ltd by carrying out effective maintenance and repair work on equipment out at customer premises or on site ensuring both quality standards and timelines for repair are optimised at all times leading to increased customer confidence and repeat business whilst ensuring outstanding customer service at all times whilst working within the Companys key result areas; Business Performance Customer Focus People and Teamwork Leadership.
To focus as a priority on the LiebherrWerk Ehingen (LWE) Mobile Tower crane (MKs) customers in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
Maintain Continuous Personal Development by attending Mobile Tower Crane specific training and Mobile Crane training in Germany and locally.
Become familiarised with the MK products to assist with supporting the company in providing customer operator familiarisations.
Carry out servicing assembly inspection and repair of LWE products at customer premises or on site or if required at the appropriate depot
To investigate specific customer concerns on a projectbyproject basis providing technical reports as may be required
Return all warranty and other return parts cleaned and on time ensuring correct processes for packing and labelling
Ensure all service information is read understood and filed
Undertake all work strictly in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations
Develops an effective working relationship with the support team and can support others where required
Maintains a healthy and safe working environment for self and others through a clear understanding of workplace safety requirements and systems.
Supports the roles of others ensuring administration and paperwork is completed effectively and on time as and when required
Develops outstanding rapport and relationships with all customers
Coordinates with the customer ensuring that customer needs are understood and that a flexible approach is adopted to meeting their needs
To represent the company in the best possible way at all times promoting the Liebherr name and representing the Liebherr brand at all times in a professional manner and in accordance with the Company and Group requirements.
Works with the customer in mind making sure that quality work standards are maintained consistently and that post work the repair site is clean and left in an condition that satisfies the customer
To work additional hours as reasonably required to undertake the described duties and to be available to work a rota based outofhours customer support.
Is able to effectively contribute in recognising and improving work processes so as to drive greater efficiency
Ensures that selfimage is a key contributor to promoting company business and maintains both personal image and vehicle condition and cleanliness to an exceptional standard at all times
Uses initiative and optimises down times to pay courtesy visits to customers
Proactively seeks new opportunities to develop personal skills and looks at opportunities out in the field
To ensure as far as possible that any commercial risks to the Company are eliminated when dealing with customers and suppliers
In all activities ensure that the Safety Quality Environmental Financial and Operational policies of the Company are adhered to and promoted and that the Company procedures both operational and administrative of are maintained
Any other duty as required by management commensurate with the post.
Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Has relevant product or industry experience
Qualified electrician with ECS card or equivalent with PLC experience
Able to demonstrate through experience in a similar industry application of skills and knowledge gained
