We are currently recruiting a Human Resources administrator to join our HR team. Here at Chase de Vere the HR door is always open and our office is always filled with smiles and biscuits. We love it when our colleagues from across the country pop in for a quick catch up and we are always available to support our colleagues with HR queries and administration.

This role is for Maternity cover for 9 months.

THE ROLE

The key purpose of this role is to support our HR manager and Senior HR administrator. You will be involved in all administrative tasks including sending new starter details out creating contracts or documenting staff illness and absence.

The HR team deal with confidential information on a daily basis so discretion and professionalism is key to being successful in this role.

Furthermore you will be a first point of contact for all new colleagues joining our company so we are really looking for someone who is personable and friendly and goes above and beyond to offer a brilliant service to our colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Providing full HR administration support to all colleagues across the business.
  • Producing correspondence relating to employees change of circumstances
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Sending out contracts and information packs to new colleagues
  • Obtaining references
  • Completing checks in order to register relevant individuals with the Financial Conduct Authority
  • Documenting relevant Sickness / Absence administration
  • Creating individual personnel files and their ongoing maintenance.
  • Supporting the Resourcing Business Partner with recruitment administration

Experience and Skills

  • Collaborative Team work makes the dream work
  • Personable and approachable the HR door is always open
  • Possess excellent PC skills (Word and Excel) the HR inbox is never empty and the phone is always ringing
  • Show initiative and the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload
