ASML US including its affiliates and subsidiaries bring together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster cheaper more energyefficient microchips. We design develop integrate market and service these advanced machines which enable our customers the worlds leading chipmakers to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips which in turn leads to smaller more powerful consumer electronics. We are seeking a Proto Engineer to join our System Integration group. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that integrates tests verifies and release our systems for Development and Engineering (D&E). Our modules consist of an intricate network of process gases high power lasers optics electronics mechatronics and control systems. In this handson position you will have the opportunity work with all of these components and become a system expert. You will be the key to building a better product though supporting the integration project and other development teams in the verifications of new functions and performance and provide the needed feedback to ensure the successful release.
Role and responsibilities
The Proto Engineer is part of a team responsible for operating and maintaining test rigs used by D&E for the purpose of design qualification reliability testing and issue resolution of new modules and features that are intended to be introduced across all ASML TWINSCAN products. These include the following tasks:
This is a 2nd shift position Monday through Friday
This position is located onsite in Wilton CT. It requires onsite presence to attend inperson workrelated events trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork collaboration and innovation.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in engineering majors e.g. Electrical Mechanical Mechatronics Physics Computer Engineering.
Associate degree with 2 years relevant experience
