Job Description
Your mission
- Plan design and maintain our intercontinental network across six global locations.
- Optimize our data center packetswitching infrastructure for reliability low latency and high throughput.
- Keep our network secure using OpenBSD firewalls and manage customer connections via leased lines and VPNs.
- Develop and enhance automated network configuration tools using 100 opensource software (e.g. Ansible Python).
- Participate in a rotating oncall system (approximately one week in five fully compensated).
- Assist in maintaining our fleet of 600 Linux servers (Debian 12 CentOS 8.
- Expand your expertise by learning technologies such as Kubernetes and Puppet
Your profile
- Programming experience in at least one scripting language ideally Bash Perl or Python.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and networking with proficiency in commandline operations.
- Experience with Icinga Puppet Hiera Linux KVM Git Facter Ansible or MySQL is desirable.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools switches routers firewalls and load balancers.
- Several years of experience in similar environments.
