Job Description
Production Technician Bindery Operator
The Pioneer Group a Hearst Newspaper Company has an immediate opening for an experienced Production Technician Bindery Operator to support the printing of four daily newspapers as well as commercial web offset printing. This is a day shift role and when not running a stitcher you will be trained on Ink Jet Mailing and Inserter machine operation.
Responsibilities
- MullerMartini Saddle stitcher machine operation
- Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
- Machine repair
- Crosstraining and staff scheduling
- Packaging and skid loading
Qualifications
- high school diploma.
- 1 years experience operating a StitcherTrimmer
- Current hold or able to obtain a forklift license.
- Experience with mechanical troubleshooting.
- A sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong math skills
- Team player and crew leadership
