Statement: The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking qualified applicants to teach a variety of lifescience classes. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching and to developing an innovative curriculum. Potential courses taught may include Human Biology (BIO 100 Human Nutrition (BIO 104 General Biology I (BIO 110 Anatomy and Physiology (BIO 210 Microbiology (BIO 321 and other labbased courses in support of nonmajors. UMA faculty are expected to be excellent teachers responsive to changing professional needs; committed to innovative delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning; and committed to effective use of technology including distance learning.

UMA serves a mix of traditional and nontraditional students and offers a wide array of liberal arts and professional programs leading to certificates associate and baccalaureate degrees. Salary: The salary range is per credit hour and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
