Job Description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Managing Director IG Loans & Acquisition Financing


In this role you will:

  • Manage and develop multiple teams of managers and professional individual contributors with focus on delivering product and service of moderate to high complexity and risk for crossfunctional stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Investment Banking functional area or who are affected by its outcomes
  • Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development within Investment Banking functional area
  • Lead an Investment Banking team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet high risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for Investment Banking functions with moderate to high complexity and risk
  • Collaborate with and influence Investment Banking professionals including more experienced leadership
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Investment Banking
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 8 years of Investment Banking experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
  • 4 years of management or leadership experience

  • Ability to identify understand and analyze growth opportunities based on market potential
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fastpaced and resultsdriven environment
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams
  • Experience in problem analysis solution implementation and change management
  • Ability to analyze trends in the competitive marketplace and related marketing developments
  • Ability to effectively assess stakeholder partner or client needs while consulting building solutions and developing processes
  • Experience leading efforts with multiple stakeholder groups

Job Expectations:

  • Registration for FINRA Series 24 must be completed within 90 days of hire date. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Ability to travel up to 50 of the time.
